What User doesn't like about Coq-o-bec (dorval):
I ordered the chicken finger plate with an additional salad. three of the chicken fingers were overboiled and burned. And the rest, now he left a bitter, dusty taste in his mouth. Maybe it was old oil, maybe it was too long. Either way, it wasn't good. I would like to mention that this was not the first time I had it at the Dorval site, and it seems to be a 50/50 chance, it is either amazing or unusable. View all feedback.

This review is from a while ago, but I figured they still deserved the shout out. At that time the portions where fair, the value was good and the staff was nice. This is a no frills take away, rotisserie chicken and fixings type of place. They do have some other items like ribs, fish, and poutine, but most of their menu revolves around chicken in all formats, shapes and sizes; on bread, in a wrap, on a plate cooked: grilled, battered, on a spit or even popcorn style I think you get the idea. If case you are not from Quebec, France of the like the name of this place is a play on the French word for rooster and the last letters of Quebec; a mashup like their menu; a complete and total mashup of chicken or their wings with various sauces, brown gravy, coleslaw (my fave) and of course fries fries fries. Quick, easy and but not gourmet by any reasonable stretch of the imagination. Oh, and they do have family deals which is nice plus wings in quantity and free, fast delivery.
Great restaurant. Has amazing chiken and even better poutine. If you go here you have to buy the poutine.

Place was neat organized and clean, customer service isn't bad, however I ordered a large poutine to try it for the first time, ended up being with cold chicken (not seasons at all) closer to being raw than cooked, and the cheese was extremely cold they basically just fried some fries, I went in again and asked if they can heat and all they did was add a hot poutine sauce.......left disappointed with the fact that I payed almost 20$ for it...
