Was Anonym at Uncle Tom's a mag?
The Coctails are great the place is really nice decorated and the personal is very friendly! The food is just ok. The Bar is in one of the most nice places of Dortmund the Kreutzviertel! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Uncle Tom's:
The place is nice, but rather average in every aspect. Staff was efficient, but not overly friendly or attentive. The prices for food and drinks are quite high. My burger was mediocre (meat nearly rare, but still dry, potato wedges dry and nearly burnt) and not at all living up to the price tag of €14. After we stopped ordering beer after beer (at around 10pm mid-week), we were asked every five minutes whether we wan... View all feedback.

Travelling to Dortmund once a month and staying at Pullman I decided with colleagues to give Uncle Tom's a go and since then we always go there for drinks or dinner..or both! The staff is brilliant and the food very good and not expensive either.Thumbs up for Uncle Tom!

So I'm very excited.Using very courteous and polite.Essen mega and drinks too. Total assessment PERFEKT

A visit to the Uncle Toms is always like a return home after a long, deductive journey. The warm, friendly rooms in rustic South State style get the guest with open arms and the radiant smile of the always friendly staff before and behind the counter makes everyday life disappear quickly. Whether delicious cocktails prepared exclusively by well-trained and experienced carriers, the freshly tapped beer from the barrel or the leak from the extensive Whisk(e)y or Rum-Range, here comes the palate of the palate at its expense. The entire arrangement is rounded off by a varied, light kitchen, all in the tradition of the southern states. Better, I've been here for years!

Everything was fine overall. The atmosphere was quite nice and sociable. However, the prices were really outrageous. A 0.4L beer for €5.50 is almost €7 for a 0.5L beer, when you'd pay around €4.50 elsewhere – meaning it's more expensive than in a restaurant/club. A while ago, I also ordered BBQ chicken wings. I was really looking forward to the food, as we were hungry, but then came the disappointment: the wings were anything but crispy; they were rather soggy. And on top of that, I ended up paying €8 for three small wings, and even the dip was inedible. That was really outrageous! Unfortunately, it ruined the whole evening for me/us, as we were really looking forward to the food. In the end, we went to McDonald's, and it tasted much better.

Very, very friendly staff. 10/10. I'd gladly come back.
