We spent five nights in this hotel and for €880 per stay you would expect a lot more. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The bar and restaurant were close... read more We spent five nights in this hotel and for €880 per stay you would expect a lot more. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The bar and restaurant were closed, the pool was freezing, and one of the two saunas was broken the other was constantly overcrowded. Towels were in short supply: there was only one set for two people, and towels were never refilled at the pool. There were also drunken guests who harassed other hotel visitors no one from the staff intervened. The housekeeping was poor: beds were only made once a week, even though we left a tip. The room was not clean and the supposedly soundproof walls let in every sound. The staff was slow, so you often had to wait hours for requests. Even the water dispensers were constantly empty. Only the breakfast was good. But when I say a “wellness hotel” I definitely mean something different. Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing for the price.

We had to wait 40 minutes for drinks at the bar, but the food was delicious. Breakfast had a wide selection, and everything was delicious. I stayed with my children, and they really enjoyed it. The pool and sauna were clean. Overall, this hotel is a great place to relax.

I would especially like to commend the friendly staff – always helpful and professional. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone. The location is ideal: quiet yet central – perfect for a visit to Dortmund. The only minor drawback might be that the pool water was a bit cold.
