We had an amazing time! The ambiance was lovely and the staff was incredibly friendly. Every employee we interacted with contributed to making our day truly special. My daughter had a fantastic birthday celebration, and I will cherish the memories of today forever. Thank you! View all feedback.
A lovely castle to visit inside and out. I can see how some people may not feel its worth visiting inside, as the outside is so stunning as it is, but my partner and I found it really interesting to free roam inside and learn all about its history. The tarten carpets were beautiful.. No photos allowed inside though, which was a shame, so I can't really show off how lovely it was inside, but I'd definitely recommend a visit. Friendly staff at all stages ticket office, shop, ticket checking, inside the castle. Be warned.. No large bags inside, you need to pay for the car park, and try to visit when it's surrounded by water to see it in all its beauty.
This is a unique castle because it is a relatively recent creation. Make sure that you realize this is a different Castle than normal. It was interesting to see and is situated in a beautiful area. I felt it was worth a quick stop while in the area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well organized.
Beautiful burg. the rain can affect her visit for the bad something strongly as it ours, but it is still a very magical experience. the exhibits in the inner are well designed and quite solid, and the guides are helpful and friendly. I don't like to call this the best lock in all Scotland, but it's definitely worth a visit and not too far away.
The classic closing visit for their adventure in Scotland is not wisely disappointed. many good parking £2 per hour, eat and refreshments available, and a great wee gift shop: castle tour is worth the money to come with this national icon near and personally. give them a little time to enjoy.
The castle is nice, it's not huge but they do have a little museum and installations inside so you can see how things were when ppl still loved there. However they charge you separately for the walking around the castle and actually entering. The walking around by is not worth the money in my eyes as it's pretty small and you could get better shots/views from across the bridge anyway
