After walking around Dorgali we realised it was difficult to find a good restaurant that was open in early March. Then we discovered Colibri. Wonderful, simple, tasty dishes with gorgeous local wine. The service was excellent.
Simple no frills restaurant, helpful service and good food. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next night.
This is the place to go for genuine no-frills Sardinian fare at very reasonable prices. The menu is limited but that's to Colibri's credit as they offer a genuinely traditional menu. This isn't a place for vegetarians though and the flavours are strong so be warned. The place lacks the warmth and charm of an old trattoria but the staff are very friendly.
Very nice restaurant, with helpful staff. Homemade pasta (which is difficult to find in Sardinia, as almost all restaurants use supermarket semi-finished products, including tomato sauce). You should try Vino de la Casa and homemade tiramisu, it’s small but delicious. For lunch you have to come early, because it’s difficult to find free table after 14.00.
Amazing food, excellent service and extremely friendly staff. We stayed in a near by b&b(Passagio a bargia I think, something similar anyway) which recommended it to us, and on hearing that, the waiter offered us both a drink of Mirto and gave us great advice on the local area. A great find, and an unforgettable meal.
