What T23T23 doesn't like about Colibri:
This was the first restaurant we tried on our trip in Sardinia, and we thought the food was ok, but a bit average, slightly lacking flavour. My partner had ravioli, they were the most flavoursome, I had mushrooms which were a main course and we had a side dish of aubergines. Both the mushrooms and aubergines were a bit bland. On the advice of the owner of the bed and breakfast where we stayed, we discovered this small restaurant in dorgali that offers traditional dishes: during our holiday around the Sardinian was the place where we ate better and we returned a second time! a cordial thanks to lucia and tree-lined for the excellent cuisine and warm welcome. that grace and arturo.
My husband and I just finished a very good dinner at Colibri. We were so grateful to find a restaurant opened off season in Dorgali. Not so easy! Our waiter was extremely friendly and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed our choices mushrooms as a shared appetizer (photo), stews as entrees: boar with rosemary, goat with thyme. Eggplant with tomatoes as a side dish, delicious ! Dolce de la casa and red house wine This is a family restaurant and they make you feel at home! My kind of comfort food!
After walking around Dorgali we realised it was difficult to find a good restaurant that was open in early March. Then we discovered Colibri. Wonderful, simple, tasty dishes with gorgeous local wine. The service was excellent.
We had a wonderful typical dinner, great quality and kindly owner Alberto who had good care of our little daughter. From the farmers cheese to the main dish Capra in umido finishing with a superior homemade desserts. We will return asap!
