Hit The Spot - Doonside

Awesome spot and the food really hits the spot! The burgers are huge and super tasty.

Have had two meals here. The best rump steak I've had in any restaurant. As tender as a good fillet and cooked exactly as I requested. The second meal was the roast pork belly. Also top class. The service was good and friendly and there is a great informal vibe. Did I mention the chips were great. Highly recommended.

Had a very nice dinner at Hit The Spot, the food is tasty and reasonably priced for very nicely sized portions. I had the pork belly which was a large portion and did taste nice although it was lacking something I couldn 't quite pin my finger on, my other half had a burger which was huge and full of sauce, the bun was not suitable to hold the large patty and all the topping so it was a little difficult to eat. The atmosphere was good even though the restaurant was rather quite and the place felt sort of 'homey ' and comfortable.

Just what is needed down here, a restaurant that knows how to prepare and present food. I good menu and inexpensive for what one gets. Nice location down a quiet road with lots of parking, located in a garden setting. The architecture is a bit bizarre and the decor is unimpressive,but functional. Service is good and the food is delicious. Try it !

Once again the food was Excellent and love going there. Will recommend to anyone...you will not be disappointed.....
