The food was excellent and delicious; I had "The Groom Breakfast," which was an incredible value for the price. I would definitely recommend it and would have it again. They also offer half-price sushi every Wednesday! The surroundings are beautiful, featuring ponds, waterfalls, and charming runner ducks along with other birds. Additionally, the venue is versatile, accommodating spa services, conferences, weddings, and functions all in one place. You can do it all here. However, the service could use some improvement.

The staff were incredibly a... read more My daughter celebrated her 10th birthday at the pool area of The Lazy Moose, and our experience was fantastic from beginning to end. The staff were incredibly accommodating and quickly set up the pool area to protect us from the light rain we encountered. The kids had a blast, and all the parents were able to unwind while enjoying drinks and pizza. As a mom, I wanted a fun and relaxed atmosphere, and The Lazy Moose provided that and so much more. Thank you for making the day so special, especially to Diwane Van Der Berg—you were amazing!

The food was delicious, well-prepared, and the sushi bar was impressive. The menu had a decent variety of options, including a fair amount of vegetarian dishes, and the prices reflect fine dining standards. However, the wait for food was a bit lengthy, which is understandable given the signal and power issues we often face in our country. My only critique is regarding the bowl of fresh chili provided to adjust spice levels—it was surprisingly bland and lacked heat; it could easily have been confused with coriander. I recommend sourcing better chili from the plentiful suppliers along the coast.
