I visited the Donna Whataburger and had a disappointing experience. The managers were unfriendly right from the beginning. One manager saw us while changing the register and chose to walk away, while the other manager was disrespectful toward me, although she was polite to other customers. I usually enjoy going to the Weslaco location, but I wanted to try the Donna location for the first time. I won't be returning.
Everything was excellent as always, with great service. Kid-friendliness: My children love the hamburgers and milkshakes!
I go to the location in Donna, the staff was extremely rude to me and my mom I order five times and they still couldn’t even get my order right and then untop of that we get our order right and they get our order wrong and only give us bread for one of the breakfast burgers and untop of that they don’t even give us creams or sugars even though me and my mom specifically asked for creams and sugars and the food tasted horrible our burgers were missing stuff in it and my coffee tasted like motor oil. This was utterly disappointing and I would advise anyone who wants to eat at Whataburger to go out of their way to find a different location instead of the one in Donna
Parking: Enough parking
My boyfriend and I often visit this location, but there always seems to be an issue with our orders. Today was particularly frustrating. We specifically asked the cashier whether we would be charged for a jalapeño cheddar biscuit as part of our sandwich order, and this is what we received: a biscuit with no sausage, no bacon—just plain bread. When we spoke to a manager about it, he claimed that it's common for people to order the biscuit this way. However, we were clear that we wanted the SANDWICH, not just a biscuit on its own. It's incredibly frustrating how uninformed or unaware the staff at this restaurant seems to be. I would strongly suggest going to ANY other location instead of this one.
