We stopped off here for dinner at the end of our road trip of Donegal. We had dinner consisting of wine starters and mains. However one of the starters was wron... read more We stopped off here for dinner at the end of our road trip of Donegal. We had dinner consisting of wine starters and mains. However one of the starters was wrong and the other forgotten about until I asked. On bringing the forgotten starter the waiter apologised for the mix up over my husbands starter and asked if he would like a replacement, he said no. The waiter again apologised and said we would not be charged for the incorrect starter. On paying we noticed that both starters were still on the bill. When I queried this and explained what had happened the owner took out his pen and began striking out the starter on the receipt stating that we had received a starter anyway even if it was not what we ordered he felt we should pay. It was him who made the mistake and brought the wrong starter in the first place and he spoiled a nice meal by embarrassing his guests in front of staff and customers. The blond haired lady behind the counter was clearly embarrassed by his behaviour, but not as embarrassed as we were. Donegal is a beautiful county and we have had the privilege to visit many amazing restaurants over the past week. This was the low point of our trip.

Very unassuming spot from the... read more Booked in here for the Saturday night that we were staying in Donegal Town and it was lucky we had booked as the place was packed! Very unassuming spot from the outside but we had a lovely meal and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive the whole evening and made sure we were taken care of. All of the food was delicious but some of the highlights were, the Chicken Tikka Pathia, Lamb Rogan Josh and Peshwari Naans.
