We spent four nights here in September. The facilities are extremely clean, with a wonderful common area and an excellent breakfast featuring local organic yogurt. The honesty bar system is a nice touch. Theresa is a fantastic host, very accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
This is my second visit to this restaurant and I have no complaints. The rooms are very comfortable and the bed was big enough for three people. The breakfast was perfectly prepared and the staff, Teresa and Albert, were extremely accommodating. Thank you!
Such a friendly welcome by Theresa, rooms clean, comfortable, nicely furnished. Lovely rural location but just a short drive from Donegal town. Super 'common room ' with plenty of comfortable sofas, a bar, piano. Breakfast is top notch. Albert is a great chef. Only stayed 2 nights, but it was a memorable stay. Already booked another trip to Donegal and staying there again!
We were a party of eight that they served a wonderful meal. Our starter selections included soup, goat cheese, smoked salmon and calamari, we all enjoyed our choices, main courses were fish, pork, lamb and steak. And again they were all delicious. Desserts topped off a memorable evening. If your travels bring you to county Donegal treat yourself to a warm hearted, great tasting experience.
Wonderful and intimate restaurant. Great service, a little bar and friendly people. Both Theresa, the owner, and Sarah were extremely gracious and a lot of fun. They make you feel as though you have been friends for years. But the way, the food is scrumptious, both dinner and breakfast. Theresa's husband is the chef, and a wonderful one at that. You can.tell he takes great pride in his cooking, preparation and presentation. We stayed for two days and would come back the next time we were in Ireland. Keep up the great work Theresa.
