I was quite impressed with Zero95, as were my family members with the food and service. We all ordered the Positano Pizza; the base was nice and chewy(just the way I like it), while the salami was outstanding. The food came out within 5 minutes; while I recommend booking especially on a Saturday night.
It can be very hard to get a seat in here and it is because the food is very good. It is not the best pizza but it is damn good. Everything is made pretty much on site I would take a guess. I found the staff could be more friendly as they are a bit reserved. Its run by brothers but I don't feel the family atmosphere. Besides that the food is very good.
First of all, I must say that this was worth the much anticipated visit. The pizzas were lovely and different to the usual fare around Melbourne 'burbs. The Margherita was lovely and fragrant - a nice balance of every ingredient it had. My fav would be the Salina which left me sated.Ok, now for the drill down. This is great for a special event but pretty pricey when you think you could have had so many pizzas and pastas from your local shop for what your meal was here. Pastas? hmmm....really nothing special given the resurgence of absolutely brilliant Italian cuisine in Melbourne of late. Be prepared for not being able to dine for a few hours. Zero95's reputation and popularity has risen considerably and they do run a tight ship. They were efficient and 90mins was ok - mains, dessert and coffee. They will remind you that they need the table for the next sitting. Yes, it IS that popular.A thumbs up overall but it will be a while before we revisit.
A definite must-visit if you're in the Doncaster area. The delicious food never fails to impress!
