Busy little place for informal Cantonese/Malaysian food, good sized portions at reasonable prices. Basic unpretentious food served by friendly staff. The place to go for comfort food. Very reasonably priced lunch menu. The classic roast meats are as good as many of the top restaurants. View all feedback.

We had a spontaneous dinner outing and discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant off Blackburn Road. The cozy restaurant has seating for about 30 people and seems to cater mostly to take-away orders. We decided to try the Eggplant Sambal, Fish Fillets with Kailan, Bean Curd Hotpot, and Peking Pork Chops. We were impressed by the generous portion sizes, beautiful presentation, and authentic flavors. In Melbourne, we've found that the quality of food at restaurants can be hit or miss, but the dishes we had tonight were consistently delicious. We will definitely be returning soon, as the prices were also quite reasonable.
One day, P.Daddy came home from Doncaster enthusiastically recommending a Chinese BBQ restaurant in Doncaster East and insisting that we should go try it.
The customer service has gotten better since my last visit and there is a new chef making roasted duck and BBQ dishes.
