Food/ service hasn't been the same since the owner passed. It used to be really good but the last few times we ordered were not pleasant the very last time we ordered we were given spoiled macaroni. I hope they can get back to what they were before.
I recently found this place when I purchased a home in Calumet City. Myself, my family and friends have ordered from here several times. Honestly my food has always been fresh, plentiful and flavorful. It's hard to find a soul food place where all the sides DON'T taste like they come out a can. This is now my soul food place on the South Side of town. Great food and always a great experience.
