Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question offers great food, but has some issues with service. Some diners experienced long waits for their orders and felt neglected by the staff. While the decor is pleasant, the lighting and ambiance leave something to be desired. However, the attentive and knowledgeable service staff receive high praise. The menu offers interesting choices for dinner, but is lacking in variety for lunch. Despite some drawbacks, the restaurant has a loyal following and many patrons plan to return. Overall, the food is fresh and tasty, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is suitable for business dinners or group gatherings.
I’ve been going to Towne Hall for years both lunch and dinner and private parties. Usually it’s an above average experience but unfortunately not the last two times. The lunch serving took excessively long, over 2 hrs, waiter barely ever came back to the table,...no bread was offered, no dessert was offered even though it’s included in table dhote, both times had to ask for both. When we didn’t want to take the seafood platter as an entry we got a look as if we were cheap and the waiters excitement diminished. The food itself was average with smaller portions than normal. Sadly it is the end of the line, won’t be coming back as there are many other viable alternatives that want my business.
Have been here numerous times before, both for private parties dinner with friends, the place has a good ambiance, vibe service was attentive. It seems they recently had some lighting work done or changes as there was a constant fluctuation between great mood...lighting and way too bright lighting for most of the evening. We were a group of 8, I think most were pleased with their meals and great wine choices, we tried three reds! My gnocchi plate was quite dense way too dry, it lacked oil and or needed more sauce, I would not order that again. Dessert came, coffee took forever……..these two things should really be served together.
I was there for a business dinner with a very funny folks and the first impression was good. Very nice decoration but disappointed experience. As brazilian, I ordered the famous “caipirinha” and I got a glass of water with a piece of lime and some...type of alcohol that I cant describe. The IPA beer run out and the rest of the options was very limited. The food was ok, but very expensive.
Nice choice of lunch specials and well priced for what you get. Food was fresh and flavorful. Attentive, knowledgeable service. Nice decor and comfortable. Will return.
A place for a younger crowd perhaps for a 5 à 7, Towne Hall is more of a bar than a restaurant. Not the type of place that I would ever suggest going for the culinary experience, although their salmon tartare is very good. They...have a private room which we used years ago for a special birthday. Bar area is nice, terrace not great as you are in the parking lot, decor is quite nice. Cheaper and more casual than it’s cousin at 40 Westt!
