Couldn't get a table at the more popular sushi resto and having passed Aikawa several times just behind Maiko my wife and I were very pleasantly surprised. Great menu, not as expensive as other similar places, excellent fast service, nice and reasonable wine list. Food was fresh and the 42 piece assortment was varied. Will definitely return.

The food tasted good and was nicely arranged, but I am used to my sushi being composed of solid pieces. Aikawa created tasty food, but most of the meat was pureed, more like baby food.

The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Madonna, the owner, was a joy to be around, and it's clear that her team adores her. That's why this restaurant is a must-visit on the West Island!
