This place serves exceptional coffee and divine desserts. The only drawback is that their popularity causes the takeaway service to be quite slow.
I stopped by Nourished by Long Shot on a busy morning to grab a coffee and a sweet treat to go. This tiny, hole-in-the-wall café is located on the same level as Long Shot itself, with tables extending into the foyer of Collins Square. When I arrived, the menu was limited to coffee and sweet treats, though signs indicated that savory lunch items and soup would be available later in the day. The coffee, a strong St Ali Orthodox blend, was excellent. I chose a muffin because of its appealing crumble top, which was delightful, but the muffin itself was quite basic and dry — definitely one that looked better than it tasted. In hindsight, I should have tried the pastries, which looked incredibly tempting.
