The food at this restaurant is incredible, as are the people who work there. They are strictly adhering to all CDC guidelines, with socially distanced seating and wearing masks. I loved every dish I tried - they were all fantastic!
This small, cozy family-owned restaurant serves delicious homestyle cooking. We arrived at 12:15, after breakfast hours had ended at 11. Just to be sure, I asked if they were still serving breakfast. To our surprise, they were more than happy to accommodate our request for eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns. The food was tasty, the coffee was hot, and the service was exceptional. The owner, Desiree, and the front of house staff, Charlie, engaged in friendly conversation with us while we enjoyed our meal. They shared funny stories about friends and family, making us feel right at home. It's impossible not to fall in love with this charming place. Be sure to try the Spice cake with apple cider cream frosting when you stop by. And don't forget to say hello to Desiree and Charlie!
I found out they will be open Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving I found this hidden treasure while visiting friends in the area. I have been there 4 times now and well worth it! I now know the owner, the chef and staff. They are all wonderful and do a great job. The food is very good and definitely worth a stop every time. I highly recommend Mountain Eats and it's on my top 10 list of eateries. I will be back every time I'm in the area guaranteed.
The food here is always amazing, we ordered a whole pie and they did not have a to go pan so she let us take her mom’s glass pie pan home. Where else would get this other than small town foothills. We love this place! The pan will be coming back clean and ready for another pie. This peach pie is great! Thank you so much!
