After War of Gallipoli, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was assigned to lead the 2nd Corps. The scenery of the Tigris River is magnificent. I would highly recommend everyone to stop by the cafe at the top of the winding stairs. View all feedback.
What Murat harman doesn't like about Gazi Köşkü şark Evi:
Total robbery. Do not go , the quality is zero . They bought 2 plates of nuts mixed mediocre and small plate , 2 small plates of popcorn , 775₺ for 1 pot of tea . When you say too much, they are arrogant. Visited on: Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure View all feedback.
We visited in May 23 on a public holiday (the museum was shut). To be honest we had expected more. Yes there is a statue of Atatürk, and the little water feature inside the house was ok, but the overall area appeared very run down, and the large water feature was almost empty and in need of a clean. A couple of restaurants nearby, and loads of free parking.

A place where Gazi Mustafa Kemal stayed when he visited Diyarbakir. Thus the name Gazi Lodge. It has thus become one of the touristic areas of the city because its historical base. There is a nice tea brewer behind this building and his tea is worth trying. This location being on top of a hill, equally gives one a very nice view of the city lying below.
It's probably great in summer or weekends, but a Tuesday night late December...I would find something more exciting, like eating your third ciğer kebab
It varies from artist to artist, but it was very nice, we had fun Visited on: Weekend Wait time Up to 10 min Reservation recommended Yes
