The homemade salsa is fantastic, and there are plenty of great vegetarian options on the menu. The waitstaff is very friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience. You definitely won't be let down! Our table enjoyed the chimichanga, guacamole with chips, and the vegetable quesadilla. We walked in very hungry and still had to ask for to-go containers because the portions are quite generous.

The food was excellent, and the staff were eager to customize dishes to our liking. The portion sizes were just right for the price. The service was attentive, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was quite relaxed, and we enjoyed watching Chopped playing in the background.

I can't wait to go back! I stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was the best experience ever! We ordered the grilled cheese tacos and the Achille piano, and we were absolutely not disappointed. I’m not usually a fan of salsa, but theirs is incredible! I even had a chance to chat with what I believe was the owner, who was genuinely interested in our feedback about the tacos. I live in Sacramento County, but this has become my favorite spot whenever I'm passing through the area. I anticipate visiting La Cocina much more frequently in the future. I love the food and the staff!

Absolutely the best authentic Mexican food restaurant for miles around. The crispy tacos are made with a homemade corn tortilla and all the right stuff inside. We also had a cheese enchilada combo. Omg, mouth watering. Beans and rice tasted just like home, how my mother used to make them. Inside dining gives you the feel of a little place in Mexico with all the colors and surroundings. It was very, very cozy. We've been coming here for some years abd will continue to. Must stop here for the real deal.

First of all, the decor is excellent. When you walk in, it’s cheery and smells so good! The staff were friendly and greeted us immediately. We were seated quite quickly even though it was prime time on a Friday night. Free crispy chips and a delicious mild salsa for our party. I had a hibiscus tea that was very unique and delicious; not too sweet. Others at our table had some tasty looking margaritas: strawberry and regular. Our food came really fast for such a crowded time. Also I will mention the toilet paper was so very soft, they had hot water in the bathroom sink and the bathroom was clean! Cute decor! This was the women’s room; I can’t comment on the men’s room. I would definitely come here again and highly recommend the place.
