I had Shrimp & Scallop Teriyaki. It was really good, but the rice was kind of a wierd combo...curry?They unfortunately were very limited with their vegetable options in general. They have a lot of fried food, so if you are looking for fish and chip this would likely be a good place. View all feedback.
Accidentally walked into this one instead of the other one that we were shooting for. We figured, "what the heck. We're here, so lets stay. Waited for awhile to get seated but there was a festival going on and we figured maybe that was why. Finally, we got to sit down but had to separate due to the size of our group (6). Then we waited for a menu. Okay, then we waited even longer to order. My parents seemed to get their dish after a lengthy wait but we still hadn't even gotten our order in. Waited for awhile yet again. Not even our drinks came out in a quick fashion. When the food came, it was very good however. The Quahog clams was amazing and the seafood chowder was some of the best I have had. The seafood was enough for two people. On the whole, we really enjoyed our meal but I dont think I would say its, "worth the wait". Once again, there was a festival and we may have caught them on an off day.

Excellent! Awesome! Amazing! Incredible! I think that pretty much covers it. This is a restaurant in the back of a gift shop. We only found it because, well, we went into the gift shop. I looked it up on Tripadvisor later in the day and we decided to go back the next night for dinner. Well, we had plenty of meals on our Nova Scotia trip and they were good, but none of them were exactly what I imagined a Nova Scotia meal to be - until we got the Shore Line. The Seafood Chowder is off the hook! A meal in and of itself. There was a whole meal's worth of scallops in it, by the time I thought to count, there were 8, and I had already eaten some. The quahog was delicious, there was shrimp, some lobster and a few potatoes. I had the single piece fish and chips which was a perfect amount. The fries are clearly hand cut and excellent. There was so many of them, that I took home about 80% of them (we were heading home the next morning - and we reheated them when we got there - they held up great in the cooler) My husband had clam strips for an appetizer which looked terrific, he also had the fish and chips (adding to the chips pile) and a side of seared scallops. He loved everything as well. The place is not fancy, it does have nice outdoor seating which was full when we got there. You may be able to call for reservation because there were all kinds of little "reserved" signs on the tables. The staff was super nice and the food was TERRIFIC!!! I highly highly recommend!!!!
Good selection for the kids. Our meals wee great. We indulged and had the escargot and bacon wrapped maple whiskey scallops for appetizers then shared the Scallops seared in butter with some deep fried clams on the side and the seafood chowder. All the food was great. Definately a must do when in Digby.
