I went to the shop to get dinner ,I told the cashier i was not hungry at that particular time so she should make a take away me ,I bought battered hake and salad ,i requested that they shouldn't put olives i dont like them they should rather substitute with feta cheese ,the take away foam was heavy and I thought it was the weight of the fish ,when I got home the fish was way to small ,the salad had 3 pieces of feta cheese, I went today to tell them about the bad experience I had with their food ,instead they told me tiger brands says they must put 3 pieces of feta cheese in the salad and when I asked about the fish and the not so appetizing salad she told me I was supposed to have taken a picture ,so the cashier who was helping me came across and I asked do you remember me and she replied yes I do and we are sorry will make another fish for you, you must come back after 15 min , when I came back apparently both of them were on lunch and I was approached by the apparent owner, and I asked him when I was here you so me and you didn't say anything to me why , he replied i heared you asked for another fish , and I replied no your cashier said they will do another fish for me since that other order was a mess he replied she's just a cashier nothing more ,but I asked you saw that there was an unhappy customer and you chose not to entertain me, he replied you people are full of drama, when he said you people is it because I'm black????? Order medium poached eggs with avo on brown toast. Eggs came plasticky and hard. Toast was more liked warmed up bread. Soft and soggy. Presentation unappetizing and just thrown on the plate. Disgusting meal. The lady next to me was watching clips on her phone at max volume and was highly intrusive to my breakfast. Altogether an unpleasant experience. I was standing at the cashier waiting to pay and order coffee. The lady was on her phone looking at bedding. Doesn't greet you absolutely no customer service. Service: Takeaway Price per person: R 100–150 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
I had chips that were old and served at high prices, along with tomato sauce in small packets. They clearly don’t offer the real thing. The staff seemed very busy drinking tea nearby, and there was a lot of noise. For these prices, I expected much better service.
This coffee shop could be really great. but it is below average mainly because of terrible service, unconsistent coffee and average food. the employees treat customers with decain, most of the time. but I had a woman who tried harder than most. I think why they need to try if they have a constant flow of customers without alternatives.
