Thanh's Palace - Dieppe
Thanh's Palace
Description
The restaurant receives mixed reviews with some praising the delicious food, particularly the Wong Tong soup, while others criticize the lackluster service and dated interior. Diners recommend the spring rolls and Pad Thai, despite the unimpressive ambiance. Overall, the combination dinners, Vietnamese food, and friendly service are highlights. The establishment is considered to be worthy of a visit, especially for takeout orders. Although the restaurant has areas for improvement such as cleanliness and ambiance, the food quality and prompt service are consistently commended by patrons.

Great Food and great service. The waitress has been there for 18 years and knows her menu and the food.
The Location is Easy To Find if you’re in a Car.The Negatives:The Interior is Kitschy, dingy and could use a refresh. The place is under lit and needs better lighting. Hard to see even in Summer Sun.Cleaning Products out on a Table near the Welcome Desk. There is No lighting in the hallway to get to the Restroom. There were no Diners at 7:45PM on a Thursday. The Positives:The phone was Ringing for Takeout. The Greeting was Prompt and fairly pleasant. The food is VERY TASTY and made to order. Very Fresh ingredients. This place should be Packed! Covid19 has been tough on a lot of Establishments. They need some young Graduate from a Marketing Program to come in and draw in Customers. Or a marketing Student who needs Credit Hours. The place needs a solid Cleaning.Don’t pay attention to the Surroundings.Come for the Delicious Food.Come frequently.

I was in the mood for Asian cuisine and this was the only open spot. While it wasn't entirely authentic, it satisfied my craving. There doesn't seem to be many other Asian food options in the area.
I came here because I was really having a craving for some noodles in a place where there doesn't seem to be many Asian restaurants. I ordered the B2 Pork vermicelli with an extra Imperial roll and Vietnamese iced coffee. In most restaurants this comes out in a heaping serving but tonight at Thanh's place it was a bit smaller than what you would find in Montreal, Toronto. It did however hit the spot. Served with a good amount of vegetables and was fresh tasting and just enough! Service from the woman (who looked to be the owner) was nice, sincere and polite. I'd definitely come back as it's a great place not far from Moncton Airport! Just what you need on a cold snowy night. Overall I'd say it's 3.5/5 range but because of the experience I bump it to 4 as the service was good!
