Still the meal w... read more Charming restaurant under vine leaves (it was a lovely day) with a lovely friendly staff. I'm not a vegetarian, but the people I was with were. Still the meal was enjoyable and nicely served. We went on market day so the atmosphere was enhanced. We...spent days in this plovely part of France staying in a tiny hamlet La Charge kms from La Motte Chalancon. The only thing to spoil this idyllic holiday was Ryanair. The best advice I can give anyone is to avoid this airline like the plague. Better to spend an extra few pounds and avoid this awful experience. Unblerss of course you are a masochist and enjoy being treated worse than cattle.

The menu i... read more Le Tchaiwalla is an excellent vegetarian restaurant, which is very rare in France. Every time we are in this region we come here for lunch or dinner. The menu is a variety of dishes, salads, raviole (local Drôme dish) and the plat du jour'. All...the ingredients are locally grown. The plat du jour' is a combination of six small portions of the menu. Even for the kids they serve a menu des enfants' with raviole of your choice and a combination of two small portions from the menu. All in all highly recommended for vegetarians and people who love food.

Because we came short before the daily menu... read more Very nice restaurant with an inside patio. We went with a family of and found a very nice atmosphere and kind staff. Because we came short before the daily menu had sold out, but there was enough choice from the card. Great ravioles...in all different tastes and a wealthy goat cheese salad. Don't forget to try the desserts!
