Papa Johns Pizza - Dickson

Stay away from ' 'the works ' '. Dough was soggy and wet. All olives appeared on one slice. Tasted almost raw. Sloppy.

Papa John's in Dickson, Tn is the most horribly run restaurant I've seen in a very long time. In the past month I've ordered from them 3 times. After the first time was my own stupidity. The first time I ordered I had to wait 30+ minutes. I ordered an XL pizza the works, that's it.This was at about 430pm on a Monday. (put into account none of the 6 employees that were working took the initiative to ask me why I was standing in their lobby for 15 minutes . The second time I ordered I placed an online order and received a message that my order would be ready in about 40mins. I arrive at the store about 10mins after they said my order would be available, this was about 8:30 on a Thursday. There was a male with dreads and an older female with red hair in the back. Both of the adults told me they hadn't received any orders under my name, once I got in my vehicle they locked the doors. (On a week day the website for papa johns in Dickson tn says they close at 11 i understand if that is wrong but, please update your website if that is the case. The 3rd time I ordered from them I ordered through doordash around 8:30pm. 4 different doordashers told me that they weren't accepting so, I assume the employees are closing the store early for their own personal reason. I just want people to beware of the situation. There is plenty of other pizza businesses in the area who actually care.

Orders are NEVER done on time. The pizza is good but not worth the aggrevation of dealing with this poorly ran branch.

We place an order for three pizzas to be picked up at Papa John’s in Dickson. The pizzas were one pepperoni, one cheese, and one pepperoni with veggies. They were set to be picked up at 5:10pm. When we went to pick up the pizzas they gave two pizzas and we were informed they had forgot one and they would need to make it. After waiting a little over a half hour they gave us the third pizza around 5:50pm. After bringing the pizzas home we had two fairly cold pizzas and one warm pizza. We saw the order was not correct and we did not get any pizza with veggies. We called and were placed on hold for around 20 minutes to speak with someone regarding the situation. Eventually we were able to speak to a male who did not provide his name, but stated he was the manager. After explaining the situation to him he fairly rudely said “well what do you want.” We explained, since we paid extra for it, at least a partial refund for the pizza with veggies we did not receive would be nice. He said he was not going to do that before hanging up the phone. This was our experience with this Papa John’s location and it will likely be our last.

This is by FAR the WORST Papa Johns I’ve ever done business with and thankfully we were just passing through town for the night and I’ll never be faced with doing business with this branch again! Like I said we were passing through and stopped at a hotel for the night. I ordered a $50 order online. Almost an hour later my order said it had been delivered which it HAD NOT! When I called it took forever to get someone on the line. Finally a woman who would not give her name but stated she was the manager, told me she would refund the money but would not remake the order. We were hauling a boat so we could not be galavanting around town looking for food. When I asked her why not she said she had a screen full of orders and wasn’t doing it, as she proceeded to HANG UP ON ME! Luckily she refunded the money but this is not acceptable for a place of business. I hope corporate sees the horrible reviews on the place!
