The orde... read more At Cook Out, I experienced no line and an empty parking lot, yet waited an excessive amount of time for one BBQ Plate and a large unsweetened iced tea. The order arrived without napkins or condiments. The pork and fries were served in small portions and were cold in the center, clearly frozen and microwaved. The pork was shredded but not cooked in BBQ sauce; only a small amount was spooned on top. I was also disappointed to receive sweet tea instead of the unsweetened I ordered. Overall, the food was tasteless and the service poor. While I usually support small local businesses, I will not return to Cook Out and suggest others don’t waste their time or money. The menu did not meet my expectations.

The only food item I can recommend with confidence is the white cheddar bites. I haven't sampled much else, so I can't say how the rest of the menu is, but the shakes alone are definitely worth a try. Plus, they offer a wide variety of flavors to choose from.

Although the menu can be a bit confusing, it still deserves a five-star rating every time! We will definitely be returning!

I had high expectations for this popular fast food chain, especially given the long lines when this location opened. However, I was quite surprised when I received my burger. The bun was much larger than the patty, which was about the size of a slider. While the flavor was decent, both the burger and the seasoned fries were cold. The only redeeming quality of Cook Out seems to be its extensive menu; perhaps other items are better than what I experienced. I really hope this was just a one-time issue for them, but I'm not inclined to give it another try.
