really good food and service! I had the laughs and tried the steak. the chocolate mousse was too sweet for my taste buds. the fruit and vegetables and appetizers on which we hunted were amazing. we were there for a company Christmas party and the staff was wonderful. the forbidden fruit cocktail is really delicious! it is very expensive, but worth the price! Took my wife to dinner for our 33rd anniversary. When I made reservations I asked for a quiet table. We were seated at the closest table to the front door and a little bit of a high traffic area, as you can imagine, a noisy party upstairs, well just not as quiet and private as I expected. The cut of steak I had was not bad but for the price I expected better. We did get a very nice complementary desert, a very nice f... View all feedback.
What a beautiful restaurant, beautiful facility. beautiful facility to take the family. enjoy the beauty in the kitchen with amazing employees. eating presentation is amazing along with quality. next to a well-maintained kitchen with daily fresh product. great job boy. keep them the amazing work. 5 quality cook has a unique experience in a remote location. I recommend natives and those who go through to stop by it is absolutely worth the penny.
I've been here a few times and I have to say it's a great addition to Dickinson. They have a very good selection of food to choose from. They'll even pair wine with your meal. I ordered a steak and was asked to cut into right away to see if it was cooked to my liking. It absolutely was. It's a very elegant restaurant and the service is top notch. I was concerned about the pricing at first, but then I went in and saw it is not your typical oilfield priced food common in the area. It's very reasonable for what you get. They have expanded their menu too since their opening in September. This place is a much needed gem in western North Dakota. There's something for everyone here. I would highly recommend it.

With one positive and two negatives I guess I would give The Crossing a mediocre 3 of 5.
I posted a review last week and gave it a 5 for the most part. I had never been there on a Saturday but it was a real learning experience. The food was good, yes, maybe a little pricey but I saw the service fall apart. My wife and I were there on training day, there were 5 gophers behind the bar trying to get their customers their drinks. They finally slaughtered the cow and put it in front of us. The food was good, but the service was almost non-existent. 1- on service, 4.8 on food, 4.0 on .
Prime rib was very rare, asked for a more done cut, still rare but satisfying. Vegetables very undercooked, kids chicken strips way over cooked. Very slow service. Not a great first impression for our first visit there. Likely wont return. The upscale pricing doesn't match the quality service. In the end, told the waitress of our dissatisfaction, she said she told the chef; that was all that was done to solve the issues.
