Every single thing was amazing! Cooked perfectly, delicious and full of flavor (duh), and service was great. My only two regrets: 1) we didn't try it sooner, 2) I didn't stop stuffing myself and now I have to sit through meetings all afternoon and try not to nap \n nI really can't rave enough about this place! Food is good, and there plates are decent size. HOWEVER, I just paid $30.oo+ dollars for a Oxtail Plate with green beans and Mash Potatoes. Bannana Pudding as desert ... no Drink . Nothing else. I had my 48th birthday 12-07-2021. And I had been trying different Black ? Owned eateries sense the 7th. I was told about this place and it did not disappoint. I really like the inside of the building and how it is set up and decorated. The staff were true Southern people of class.They gave me that good Hospitality..! Under those green beans with turkey meat in them..are Greens mixed with a little bit of Cabbage..??, those potatoes have bacon in them and potato chunks..??, the fish was (FFC FRESH, FRIED CRISPY..!??? The peach cobbler was good enough to keep me from loosing weight....which is the way I like my dessert.??I Love that this is a Black ? Owned Restaurant...keep up the good cooking and hospitality...???????
Wow! The Ox Tails, Beans and Rice, and Macaroni and Cheese are absolute destination dishes!!! ??? Been craving Ox Tails for a while now and was not let down! Deep flavors, amazing gravy, and tender delicious-ness!I run and operate a restaurant, and this is TOP NOTCH comfort soul food. ????????
Johnae’s catered our company today and I can’t begin to tell you how delicious this food was. It’s hard to please 100 people with no complaints but today with her food everyone was complimenting it. The presentation, individual containers, how she brought the individual plates in hot pans to keep them warm while she got there. No matter what you eat… make sure to eat the cornbread!!! She made me look like a hero today! Thanks Johnae and team! Can’t wait until next time!
