This is a stopover for C&O canal trail users and boaters using the ramp by the cafe. Though its greatest aspect is its location, right on the trail, the food is great. Straight forward American fare that is prepared well with good ingredients. There is limited indoor dining, but I have always been able to find a seat. Outside dining is also available. It would be nice if the place was ever actually open. The hours of operation are apparently only a suggestion as the store is constantly closed sometimes as early as 2 in the afternoon. Padlocks on all the restrooms. The ferry is chained off and closed as well. View all feedback.
