Came here on a Tuesday and I made a reservation but it was actually empty so they didn 't even look at my reservation. We came in a group and 3 and it was not enough people for one Yupduk my friend and I took the leftovers home and we ended up eating it for 3 more meals.I love the duk in these bowls, it 's so perfectly chewy and so different from other korean restaurants and the ones you get at Hmart. Also the spice... View all feedback.
What Jennie C doesn't like about Yupdduk Diamond:
came here to pick up my to go order which is the monk fish dish. came home to find out one of the side dish items went bad... the moment i opened the to-go plastic bag, i sensed some sort of rot smell and realized it was coming from the mashed potatoes (or potato salad) in the side dish container. overall, the monk fish was mid and the side dish made this whole experience bad.. 10/3/22A nice place for family lunch regularly. We come here at least once a month, have some Yupdduk set, Jumbo rice, and Soondae. This time, we asked extra-mild spicy flavor and it was wonderful. Last time, we had just mild , thinking it 's not that spicy but it was, so we could not even finish it up. Come and try some of those we did, then you 'll never get disappointed!!
If you like the chewy korean spicy rice cake dish, you will love it! It is bit spicy so I recommend ordering the rice dishes as a side. The portion was good enough to be shared and service as good as well.
Being an avid foodie and mukbang watcher, I was on the hunt for a good tteok-bokki and let me tell you..Yupdduk did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and patient while I navigated the unfamiliar menu and the meal exceeded expectations! There are several options to add if you like more variety. The portions are definitely large so bring a friend or plan for leftovers! (Unless you're a famous mukbanger or competitive eater lol) I guess it speaks for itself that I've already come back less than a week later and dragged my boyfriend with. YUM!
This is our first time here at this restaurant, and we can tell the food is going to be good even before we order it, because I saw some Korean grandparents here and that's always an important indicator. We got the spicy octopus pot and the fried shishamo . The soup was very flavorful and not too spicy. Will for sure come back for other dishes
Ordered the Yupdduk Oh $22 and added glass noodles $2. The portion can feed 3-4 people.. it’s pretty big! We waited for a good 30 min.. so give yourself some time when you come here! We got the mild spice and it was still too spicy for me. I want to go back and try the extra mild which the server said it’ll be sweeter. Apparently the original is equivalent to the fire noodles. Soo ask before getting the original.. it’s not packed inside but to go orders were consistent as we were there. This store is to the left of the supermarket. Parking is a bit hard so I’d suggest just to park anywhere you can since it’s a plaza and everyone shares parking. I definitely will be coming back since portion wise was big and a decent price.Update: they have new items on their menu!!Features: They all wear masks
