The French toasts were soggy, they forgot to put an egg on the order, the coffee was no better than gas station’s.This was the first and last time we went.

We come here about once a week. Unfortunately today the service was really bad. Four servers and we had to ask for butter for our pancakes and French toast, twice. We had to ask for coffee three times, had to ask for to go containers twice. Having to flag down severs is not necessary in a small place like this… no excuse. hopefully next time will be different. Small tip.

I’ve always enjoyed this having breakfast here.. but I was disappointed at the service today. Had to flag and ask for coffee, among other things when there’s 4+ waitresses and sitting around.. need to improve in this

I had seen many good reviews on Yelp for this place, so I kept it bookmarked on Yelp and we finally tried it today. We got there around 11 ish and we were seated immediately. The ambiance was comfortable and modern and I especially liked the cool chalkboard art. We ordered stack of 3 French toast , Egg benedict and Denver Omelet. Price was great. However, I'm sorry to say that we all were disappointed by the taste. Stack of 3 French Toast $11- the toast had a lack of flavor and was soggy. My daughter usually likes any kind of French Toast but she didn't like this one. I tried a bite and the flavor was not on point. (2 out of 5 stars) Eggs benedict $15- toasted English muffin topped with 2 poached eggs, bacon strips, spinach hollandaise sauce. Again, I usually love Eggs Benedict and I especially like the other restaurant in Walnut (ACC). Their poached eggs were okay but they put so much sauce on it that it made my muffin soggy. The spinach and sauce didn't match with the poached eggs. Bacon strips were not crispy. However, I liked the diced potatoes and they were quite flavorful. (3 out of 5 stars) Denver Omelet $15- hubby ordered omelet and it had ham, bacon, bell pepper, onions cheddar cheese. The toast was way too dry and crunchy (texture like croutons) and the omelet was also over cooked dry. Hubby didn't like it at all. (2 out of 5 stars) We also ordered freshly squeezed Orange Juice and coffee. I loved my OJ a lot though. lol Service: 5 stars. Service was great and they were friendly. They kept checking us out and asked us if we needed anything. I would not recommend ordering American breakfast, perhaps they do better on Mexican dishes. I was a bit disappointed because I suggested this place to my family. I would give it 3 stars.

Service here is really good!!! I had the Mazapan Latte iced and it was so delicious I would go back just for this. I also had waffles with sausage which was pretty basic nothing special but it wasn't bad either. The ambiance is that of a normal cafe the waiters running around providing quick service in such a small dining area. Parking is great. There was no wait time (Sunday morning). The waitress recognized my brother as he comes here often which is nice they acknowledge their regulars. I definitely recommend if you want a cafe that's not busy no super long wait and looking for basic Mexican breakfast or pancake and waffles.
