I’ve been to Urban Eats three times in the last two years. I love the pork sandwich and get it every time I’ve been there. Two things I’ve noticed that are pretty consistent about this place. My family has ate here several times and have always been treated well and left very happy with everything. Food is excellent and they have many tasty options. Soups and salads are always fresh. If you go through DeWitt looking to eat, you definitely need to stop at Urban Eats!!
We arrived at 6:30 PM. There were a few tables filled and one customer finishing their order at the register. You order at the counter and then move to the register to pay. One woman had a to-go order. Our friends ordered and got their food immediately. They sat down and the to-go lady stepped ahead of us. She proceeded to take every container out of her three to-go bags and check each container. She then made several requests for extra items. She requested each item separately. All the while our food sat there getting cold. The counter girl seemed flustered and had very little idea what she was doing. By the time she walked s-l-o-w-l-y back to the kitchen and back to the to-go customer several times, we had waited at least 10-15 minutes. When it was our turn to pay the counter girl had to ask us what we ordered. Our food was sitting right in front of her.The food was delicious. I would go there again, but their ordering and paying process needs work. Perhaps a separate line for to-go customers.Also the plexiglass shield where you order is so high and communication with the person taking your order is difficult, you have to shout so she can hear you.We wished we would have known you can BYOB, that would be some helpful information to put on the website .

Delicious food, Quick Service, great music with an appropriate volume. Free Wi-Fi and plenty of 110 V outlets, great place to stop in and work or study.
