The restaurant serves food in Styrofoam containers, which are unsuitable for hot, oily dishes, as they can release harmful toxins when heated. This issue has occurred consistently, over five times in a row. I even left tips on my takeout orders. If they don't change their packaging, they could face serious legal consequences. Using alternatives like wax paper or aluminum foil for takeout could help them avoid potential lawsuits.

We love discovering local cafes, and Sunrise Cafe was a fantastic find! She ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich—an excellent breaded delicacy from Iowa. I opted for a bowl of chicken noodle soup, and both dishes were exceptional. I even managed to save some room for the apple pie à la mode, which was absolutely divine. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere of the cafe was delightful. Dewitt is a charming town that we hadn't visited before, and this cafe is truly a gem.

This is the perfect place to enjoy a sit-down meal at a great price. The waitstaff and management are very courteous and efficient. Every part of our experience was enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to dining here again!

Gem of a small town, great spot for breakfast. Friendly help always run in to a neighbor for a chat or quick hello.

Cute little diner with good quality food and good servings with great service! Will be back again! My son had the stuffed biscuits and I had their omelet ! Very good!!!
