Nestled by the waterfront, this café offers a serene setting perfect for enjoying meals and mini-golf. Patrons praise the delicious food options, from sizable ice chocolates to savory lamb wraps and breakfast items, complemented by friendly, attentive service. However, some visitors noted a persistent unpleasant odor and issues with food wait times, which detracted from the overall experience. While the menu is considered slightly overpriced, the café's welcoming atmosphere and beautiful views make it a favorable choice for family outings. Despite minor maintenance and service concerns, many agree it’s worth a visit for a delightful meal and fun activities.

This is a fantastic spot for a round of mini-golf or a lovely lunch at the café with a beautiful view of the waterfront. It's quite tranquil, and the meals are reasonably priced! Definitely worth a visit! View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Waterfront Cafe:
Great service, friendly staff. Only problem with this place was the horrible smell, which seemed to be like the urinal block, coming from the toilet everytime the door was opened. I have not encountered this smell in any other eatery that has a public toilet on site. Pretty grosse View all feedback.

The biggest ice chocolate I’ve ever had! It was delicious. I also tried the lamb wrap (no picture), and even though I’m not a fan of olives, the staff were very accommodating and removed them for me.

Visited here numerous times and always enjoyed it !

Great little spot for a light lunch, generous serves at reasonable prices.

I ultimately ordered the burger, steak sandwich, and wedges with sour cream and sweet chili sauce. While the food was good, it took far too long to arrive—about 35 to 40 minutes—especially considering the restaurant was almost empty. The total cost was $80, which felt quite high for a burger, steak sandwich, wedges, a milkshake, and a can of Coke. Any higher and I would have reconsidered dining there. I was told to expect a 10-minute wait, but when I returned after 15 minutes, I was informed that it would be another 10 minutes, and then asked to come back again. I ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes, followed by another 5 minutes before receiving my food. Although it was decent, I couldn't help but wonder what was causing the delays, especially when the place wasn't busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff behind the counter. On a positive note, they have a well-maintained mini-golf area for families and kids. I’m not sure about the pricing for that, but it seemed like the players were having a good time. Overall, I would rate this experience 3 stars. I would have given it 4, but if a restaurant wants to create a better experience, they really need to clean their outdoor tables and chairs, ensure that all menu items are available, and deliver food promptly as promised when ordering. I'm uncertain if I would return, as there are other cafes in the area that offer similar quality, are slightly less expensive, and have cleaner outdoor seating areas.

This is a wonderful little café. I've visited several times, and I've always enjoyed their delicious meals and cakes. The coffee is lovely, and the homemade mixed berry cheesecake is fantastic!
