A pleasant place for a coffee and an aperol spray. Interesting aromas of local products like bubble rubber macarons. Large selection of local meats. The bathroom is a mural in a young Tasmanic artist style a lot. The service was prompt, but saw server that eats the rest of the orange with his hands after putting it in our drink, a bit of gross. They dont have a separate vegan menu, the food was bland. The staff got in such a mess over me being vegan as 90% of staff had no idea what vegans could eat so i waited for their 1 appointed staff member to exsplain what they can do vegan. She was lovely but i had to wait 15 minutes just to find out what could be done vegan. The food taste like when non vegan cooks and puts no effort in. Very bland food. I had the br... We had a breakfast here after disembarking from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry. There aren’t many options available at 6:30am so kudos to Laneway crew for working so early in the morning. Coffee was okay but the food options were very expensive even compared to Sydney and Melbourne prices. My breakfast wrap was 26$ and it was just an average wrap with standard ingredients and tomato sauce. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $40–60

Great spot. Especially after a long night on the spirit. Team were smashed by the morning rush but did an incredible job and food was fast and delicious. Highly recommended as a first stop after the boat if your able to down some coffee and food. I love this place, maybe I bring out the best in the staff or some guerilla reviewers are on the rampage, I love your scrambled eggs . Farmers breakie! And great coffee. Always a good crowd of thinkers even visiting kids know what avacado smash is....and behave.
Get off the Spirit of Tasmania and go straight to the Laneway for coffee and breakfast! Great food, awesome coffee and friendly, witty staff! Best way to start a Tassie Adventure!
I so wish I'd come here on arrival to Devonport for breakfast instead of the place we had a coupon for. Found by accident when looking for coffee and I loved it. Fantastic menu for those looking for healthy wholefood options and options just a little bit different. I had the spiced hot chocolate, came in a little jug which filled my cup 3 times.
Great brekky I didn’t want toast so they offered a side in its place. Good food coffee and tea. Lots of options for allergy people.
Straight there off the boat for breakfast. Great coffee, food and service even with the power going off for about 10 minutes!

Ambience with great friendly service and great food. A strong Piccolo latte to wake you up immediately and oh super delicious chicken and waffles and eggs Benedict. They have a beautiful freshly pressed orange juice and have received a smoothie application friendly.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten. The mood was nice and friendly and the staff was welcoming and courteous. The portions were large and good quality and service fast.
Coffee strong, delicious
Lovely smile upon arrival, super quick to a table and promptly greeted with yet another smile to take our order. Please don’t lose this! Coffee was great, so too were the eggs Benedict. I was delighted by my experience.
