the elli has an excellent service, with friendly staff and meals that are delivered quickly to the table. the menu is great and eating is delicious. we loved the sight of the spirit that comes in while we ate. View all feedback.

waiting service was good, the bar person has never smiled engaged and obviously did not want to be there. carving and chips were cooked over. my steak, while he was properly cooked, was hard. View all feedback.

2nd time I have been here and 2nd time our meal was below average, 2 of the 4 meals were barely warm and we waited ages. Bistro wasn’t busy at the time and people that ordered after us were served first.
Really disappointed with the way we were treated today by a staff member at the Elimatta Hotel (bistro). I called yesterday afternoon to reserve a booking for a work Christmas luncheon/farewell (We work in tourism so today took alot of organising to line up everyone 's schedule before Christmas). Was told the booking was fine but there was a set menu because of the Melbourne Cup, which didn 't worry us at all. Left my name and contact details. Only to arrive today at 12.15pm for our 12.30pm booking, to be told that the Bistro was closed for a function and that our booking was 'cancelled '. Luckily, the kind staff at a venue very close by were able to facilitate us at very last minute and provided a beautiful meal for our work colleagues who had travelled as far as Campbell Town to join us. Very disappointing as we 've recommended the Eli to multiple people for beautiful meals and a great place for group gatherings, not to mention have dined there many, many times ourselves. Will not be recommending in the future. Service: 1
Really nice meal however, I tired to book online multiple times it sent me straight to over night stay, i did not want to stay overnight I just wanted to book a table for a meal. If your going to have to types of businesses please have multiple phone lines. Service: 4

Reliable absolutely reliable pub menu if we need to feed a big party or just a special tasty bite for me and with fantastic views. fresh tassie scallops yum. parking: super easy on street parking
Great friendly atmosphere very fast service from ordering to reception of eating. no loud pokies machines. you have to try the frying and many other meal times
Best pub food ever???? Lovely,helpful,friendly staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Menu is extensive. Something for every taste. We had dinner there Friday night 5th March 2022. Wish there were more pubs like this on the mainland.
