It can get a little noisy, but that just shows how popular this wonderful restaurant is. The food is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly and enjoys having conversations. It's truly a fantastic spot that you shouldn't miss! Make your way up the hill to Miandetta for an impressive menu bursting with delicious dishes. View all feedback.

Nice atmosphere and the staff were very polite and tentative and the kids platters are amazing. Don’t really like to put food down but the fritters weren’t even eatable, they were bland, overcooked and terrible flavours. I suppose what was more disappointing is that one of the waitresses asked how it was because I left 95% of my meal on the plate, her reply was “personal preference I suppose” Ouch! Went down for breakfast yesterday and today and both time's well worth the money. So if you are ever in Devonport look it up stop have breakfast lunch or just get a coffee. Sit back and enjoy.
Recently had our staff Xmas party here and the food was impeccable! The presentation and flavours were just perfect. Highly recommend using Vanessa at the Brown Bear for an event.
