Bento Box - Devonport
Bento Box
Description
Bento Box restaurant offers a typical, yet unremarkable Japanese dining experience, with some customers noting that the food was as expected for a bento box. The lack of ambiance due to poor acoustics and distracting background noise was a downside for some. While service received mixed reviews, with some praising the quick and friendly service, others were disappointed by rude staff. Despite some inconsistencies with food quality and freshness, Bento Box is praised for its good value for money and convenient hours of operation. The lunchboxes are particularly popular, with the tuna roll and crispy chicken roll receiving high praise. Overall, Bento Box seems to cater well to those looking for a quick and casual Japanese dining experience.

Feedback
After reading such good reviews it is a shame that I have to go against the grain hereI went in for the first time last week for lunch.
As an old tassie local from way back I always find myself at bento when home visiting family and friends.
Yummy and fast. Is it the best Japanese food? Well it's certainly not fine dining, but it's inexpensive and delicious. A regular spot among friends.
