Absolutely love this pizza. Have never been disappointed in dealing with the company itself, however was extremely disappointed in the product received through Skip the Dishes. What John Asirvatham doesn't like about Chicago Deep Dish Pizza:
Delivery was slow/ 1 Large Cheese Pizza, Paid for extra cheese $4, Paid for Feta $4, Paid for Parm $1 and a Greek Salad with Garlic Toast/ Pizza was lackluster, maybe ok at best. I have always been curious about what lays beneath the heat lamp at this small takeaway pizza place on Whyte Avenue.
Tried Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, during my short stay in Edmonton.
This is not Chicago style deep dish. Much closer to Detroit style. And with that, this is a small step beyond a hot path. 90% dough with little to no flavor. Toppings are solid but I'm pretty sure they're on sauce rations as it was nowhere to be found.
I love CDDP, great pizza and the toppings on it are worth every penny of a bite. Wait till you get a big supreme! Oh wore the punches on it and the thickness of the cake.
Min $23 for delivery order? That's a lot of food for one person. That's okay, I order pizza from a pizza place that really wants my business.
