The service was excellent, with water bottles readily available, and we indulged in a generous three-course menu. You truly made our visit enjoyable, and your attention to detail is commendable. It's unfortunate that other restaurants nearby seem to offer only typical local dishes, but this only highlights your unique offerings.

Menu has particular emphasis on fresh cornish fish and we were spoilt for choice. Many of the dishes were available either as starter or a main. Great continental style breakfast with one of the best bacon sandwiches ever . Fantastic personal service from all staff.

Our room didn’t have a shower which wa... read more Had an amazing stay with chippy from Adelaide australia at the George and dragon, super warm welcoming and accommodating. Our room didn’t have a shower which was probably our poor planning/ late booking. Chippy gave us the tip to visit Avebury which was so much better for us than stone henge. We also visited the nearby lock at rowde was fascinating. Food was great, service amazing. Thanks chippy and team especially the lovely x army lady you are strong!! We had a wedding nearby which is why we visited.
