Reviews - Devine Cafe
Reviews summary
Known for huge, delicious tacos, standout house tortillas and affordable breakfasts, this neighborhood Mexican café serves hearty plates and chips with plenty of parking and takeout. Many diners praise the flavor and friendly service, but experiences are inconsistent: slow ticket times, missing sides (sour cream/guacamole), occasional tough meat, over‑cheesed nachos, menu items running out, and cleanliness lapses (flies, spoiled salsa). A solid pick for taco and breakfast lovers if you accept occasional variability.

Absolutely fantastic! I give it a perfect 10 out of 10. The food deserves a solid 5, the service was impeccable with another 5, and the atmosphere was equally great, earning a 5 as well. View all feedback.

We wanted to order the Friday special, but when the waitress returned with our order, she informed us that they had run out of steak, which was supposed to be included in the dish. We asked if we could substitute another enchilada for the steak, and she initially seemed okay with it. However, moments later, she returned to say that was not possible because we had already begun eating our food. When we inquired about the tea and tortillas that typically accompany the special, she informed us that since we didn’t actually receive the special, we wouldn't be getting those items. We were very disappointed with this experience. When we went to pay, we explained the situation to the cashier, who responded with a dismissive attitude. Eventually, she charged us the special price, but when we pointed out that we hadn’t received the tea or tortillas, she repeated that it was because we didn’t get the special. We politely asked if we could still have the tea, and she told us no because they had stopped serving it for the day. I expressed that if they were out of food to complete our order, we should have been informed so we could choose something else. I also mentioned that I wouldn’t be returning to this restaurant and would continue to go to my favorite, "Viva Zapata." If they continue to treat their customers this way, they won’t be in business for long. I was taken aback by the poor treatment from what are supposed to be "so-called Christians."
Everything was so delicious! We tried the puffy tacos, picadillo, and a breakfast plate, and all three dishes were excellent!
I am truly grateful to Dr. Adazal, the remarkable spell caster, for performing a spiritual spell that brought my partner and me back together. As you walk in this place you are greeted by personal and attended with in minutes . very clean. The food is brought out shortly after ordering and to top it off the tortillas are worm and fluffy just like grandma made. I will surely be returning Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast
We always went here, after every sport event, when family would come into town etc. but my husband went in for 4 tacos with only country in them he was charged $4 for each taco but on the menu online and when you walk in it showed something different so when he called and asked why he was being charged that the lady stated “They went up on all the prices last night” I’ve been a small business owner for over 9 years and I’m very understanding and love supporting small businesses but when I left a comment on Facebook about it I didn’t get a response either. So just for a recommendation if you’re needing the extra money stop offering free tacos for points and stop doing this to regular clients who are in a rush with small children and don’t pay much attention.
I stopped here with 5 other friends fir lunch. The 5 star rating must come from family.... The food was terrible. The beef fajita meat was tough. My simple order of nachos was served without the advertised on the menu and promised sour cream and guacamole. I had to ask. The nachos had way too much cheese on them. There were flies all around our food. I wouldn't recommend this Cafe to anyone. Go to McDonald's up the street. Thanks but no thanks. I usually take photos to post with my reviews.... yea... it wasn't appealing to look at.... Definitely NOT worth the 1 star..... truth!!
Six of us came in for lunch. I ordered a coke and a water. Took 20 minutes for the glass of water to arrive. The food came out one plate at a time, by the time the sixth arrived, the first person's food was cold. Two of us had to repeatedly ask for the sour cream and guacamole that was supposed to be on our plates. I found a fly in my Coke when I had drank about 3/ 4 of it. When I went to the register to pay, I showed the cashier, Diana, the bottle with the fly in it. She took the bottle and said OH, and rang up my check total. No sorry or anything. We won't be returning again. Mediocre food and worst customer service ever!

Friends, I’ve discovered one of those rare gems you occasionally come across. This place serves amazing food! The homemade tortillas are fresh and so soft. The staff is incredibly polite and friendly. Once again, I can’t emphasize enough how delicious the food is. I’ll definitely be coming here often. The coffee was hot and just right, and the atmosphere feels like being at my mom’s house.
Wow, what a charming little diner with fantastic food! With three chefs on duty, my order was served quickly and piping hot, and the coffee was excellent as well. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, and the staff was very friendly. I've visited twice already, and I’ll definitely be returning for more!
We arrived between lunch and dinner, but were promptly seated. We started with chips, salsa, and queso. The Carne Guisada Ala Mexicana was a rich stew, but it lacked seasoning, despite being served with rice and beans. The cheese enchiladas were a bit tough, although the chili gravy was delightful. The beef taco was quite good, but it fell short in portion. However, this place serves incredible tortillas that make for fantastic breakfast tacos. Overall, we're still forming our opinion about the lunch experience.
I want to say that this place is terrible, but I can only get a table if I want to eat here! The food is so delicious!! Three tortillas are made fresh. One of my favorites is the Taco salad. It's HUGE! Your breakfast tacos are HUGE! These people believe in giving you the money. Good, price is right, staff is very friendly, just save a table for me!!
