Pizza Da Franco and Pizza Picasso were probably the best pizzas we ever had: thin, crisp and with quality Parma ham, sausages and fresh salad and tomatos. it is... read more Pizza Da Franco and Pizza Picasso were probably the best pizzas we ever had: thin, crisp and with quality Parma ham, sausages and fresh salad and tomatos. it is hard to find Real italian pizzas In Germanu, but these definitely were. And burning warm when served. Nice view from the outside tables and friendly service. We will come back next time we go by on the A7 at lunch or dinner time. Dettelbach is by the way nice and cozy for a short walk to wake the appetite.

The restaurant is located in a stone ho... read more Excellent Italian cuisine based on seasonal products. Owner and employees are Italian, which advocates for authenticity. The restaurant is located in a stone house at the top of the hill holding the historic city wall, which offers a beautiful view of the wall and the valley next to the Main river. The Italian and Franconian wines complement wonderfully the fish, meat, pastas, pizzas, and vegetarian dishes, as well as the desserts.
