I tried a cocktail called the Elo... read more I dined at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere—it’s fantastic! The large bar and low seating give it a very unique vibe. I tried a cocktail called the Eloise, but I felt it was a bit too heavy on the blueberry flavor. For dinner, we ordered potatoes, parsnips, polenta, and steak, which was plenty for two people. The turnips were outstanding, but the rest of the dishes didn’t impress me as much; the polenta was quite bland. The timing of the food was good, but the steak was served cold, and our drink service was frustratingly slow. If you haven't been to Barda yet, I suggest you give it a try, but I probably won't be returning myself.

I really appreciated the bar's design, which is set lower so that the bartenders are at eye level while you're seated. It's a great concept. The charred Caesar salad was fantastic, but my favorite dish was definitely the roasted parsnips — they were unbelievably delicious. We opted to order and share appetizers for dinner, but I’ll definitely return to sample some entrees. We enjoyed a Spanish white wine called Pardavalles and a very creative mocktail. I highly recommend this place. The parking lot is small, but there was plenty of free street parking available.
