Contribute FeedbackExperience at Primrose was mixed with some guests enjoying the upscale atmosphere and delicious food, while others were left disappointed by the overcooked steaks and underwhelming dishes. Complaints include pricey, incorrectly cooked food and lack of options during special occasions. However, some praised the seafood, sushi, and wine list. Service varied from attentive to slow, and prices did not always match the quality of the food. Overall, the romantic setting, charming ambiance, and attentive service made it a pleasant dining experience for some, while others felt it fell short of expectations for a high-end restaurant.
Celebrated my birthday here. Food was overall very good but and server was great but the kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed. My sushi was one of the best I’ve had but I finished my meal before the other meals were even delivered
My daughters and I were staying at the Henderson for a girl's weekend and I thought it would be nice to go to an upper scale restaurant that was also on property. Unfortunately, we all felt it was overpriced for the meals we received. For an appetizer, we ordered the mussels which seemed fresh but boring. I ordered Shrimp and Grits which was under seasoned. My year old daughter ordered the Duck Confit Shepherd's Pie which was also bland. My year old daughter ordered sushi rolls and Miso soup; both were very good! The most disappointing feature was a family with a small child whose video games were turned up so loudly we could hear them from the other side of the restaurant …not exactly the ambience we were looking for. The best part of the experience was our server and the other staff. They were flawless
Food and service was good but not over the top. Restaurant trying to be to upscale for area
It was our anniversary so we stayed at the Henderson and decided to dine at primrose. I had the filet and it was just a bad cut of meat. Maybe it was just that night. They did take it off my bill which I appreciate!! We had the pork belly for appetizer and it was not very good either. My husband had the fish and it had miso soup poured over it which made it interesting but not fabulous. The service was great and the actual restaurant is nice. I should have booked the melting pot as it is right down the street. We did not tell them it was our anniversary
Some of the best food I’ve had. Pork belly and sushi was amazing. Get the Duck Shepherds Pie!!
