Seagar’s Prime Steaks And Seafood

Great steakhouse. Best steakhouse in the panhandle by far. Pages are wonderful, Steaks are aged for the pre-election. The entire Hilton/Seagars experience is a treat.

This is quintessential fine dining. These are as fine as any steaks I have ever encountered as are the knowledgeable and gracious staff. The atmosphere is perfect and if you have small children with you they will seat you in a private dining area at your request. Nice to have a New York or Las Vegas quality dining experience while at your resort on vacation at the beach. Seagars is my favorite restuarant in Destin bar none.

Just went here the other night and it was delicious. The waiter was very helpful with suggestions on the menu. We started out with an appetizer that was a fried egg plant stacked with lump crab meat, fried green tomato, followed by more crab meat. I would have never tried anything like this, but the waiter suggested it and I'm really glad I listened. The steak was also the best I have ever had. I got the porter house and the fillet side almost melted in my mouth. It is a pricey place, but you get what you pay for. It's an absolute must for people that an occasional fancy dining experience.
