First Watch - Destin

Amazing breakfast. The eggs were perfectly fried and beautifully spiced. The potatoes were so delicious; not too crispy, not too tender. My friend got a breakfast sandwich that was so lazy in ingredients he couldn't finish the whole thing. One of my girls' friends got the avocado toast that was very generous with the avocado. Would recommend this restaurant **** himself. The service was also excellent; that's such a wonderful thing, wake up.

First Watch is always amazing! I ordered the Morning Meditation and The Works omelette. My husband had the Purple Haze and a skillet hash (not pictured). The food is always delicious, no matter which First Watch location I go to. The staff always does an amazing job when we do come and eat breakfast here. ?

This was my first time here. I decided to try the warm honey pecan salad and half of a Monterey Club Sandwich. They had a $10 lunch special half salad half soup or half sandwich. To drink I had got a drink from the juice bar. It was called Purple Haze which had lavender in it and supposedly has lots of health benefits in it. It was delicious I drank it before I knew it. ?? BEWARE they are addictive! And there are no free refills on these natural juice drinks. 4.99 each time. This place was pretty packed upon my arrival. I saw a lot of people ordering breakfast which looked delicious I can 't wait to come back and try some more items.

FOOD GENERAL ISSUES I will prevent me from giving this one star based on allergen protocols that are not superior. My son ended up here in the emergency room within hours of eating. I contacted the company and waited for an answer. I'll say the atmosphere was welcoming, was minimal, and the food saw appetite. But first security? We wondered if they could handle that our server was aware of allergy, our food came with allergy flags and all? Something happened that we didn't see.

This was my first time eating here and my experience was great, the food was great. You have got to try the Belgian waffle, it is so soft and fluffy. Everything I ordered was fantastic, and it ended up being so much food that I took it to go for later. Once I am back in FL again I will definitely be back. Jessica, our waitress was so patient as we figured out what we wanted. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the silverware and cups were stained/ dirty looking. It was a bit of a deterrent but not enough for me not to try First Watch again.
