Bitterroot Food And Spirits - Destin

My husband, two of our tween grandchildren and I decided to eat lunch at Bitterroot, today. The restaurant is clean. The restrooms are clean and well-stocked. I love the cute floors, in the bathrooms! The water is delicious, especially notable inDestin. The music is upbeat but unobtrusive. Sadly, a table of four ladies seated next to us are very loud, with screechinglaughter that suggests they have over-imbibed the wine they are being served. They are especially noticeable in a calm, classyrestaurant, like Bitterroot. Our tweens are far better behaved. Service is a bit slow, due to being short-handed. My husbandand I started with a cheese and charcuterie plate that was good. Our grandchildren and I loved our burgers and fries! Myhusband sent back his spaghetti bolognese, because he thought the noodles needed to be cooked longer. It was removed from ourbill. I like less-done al dente noodles, but we couldn't swap entrees because he hates the onions that came on my burger. Heordered a burger, instead. He enjoyed it. My coffee was strong and smooth; delicious! The spacious parking lot is well-litand clean. Recommended!

Can?t recommend this place enough ? we came for my graduation celebration and enjoyed every bite of food. Loved the arancini and whipped ricotta for appetizers. The short rib was the best of the entrees. The ambiance is beautiful but will warn you that therestaurant is kept a little warm (especially for Florida)? we were sat right by the thermostat which read 77 degrees. Otherwise,great meal and will be returning!

We had a great time at Bitterroot for Sunday Brunch. The cocktails, appetizers, and entrees were all excellent, and the staff was fantastic. It was a lovely experience, and we will definitely return!

I had a fantastic dining experience! The food and cocktails were incredible. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between romantic and casual. I love that they update their menu every four months. I can't wait to return!

My husband and I had our first visit here, and we absolutely loved it! We sat at the beautiful bar and shared several starters; all of them were delicious! My favorite was the short rib flatbread. They also have an excellent wine list, which is better than many other places. The craft cocktails were fantastic too!
