This restaurant gets five stars across the board! The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is friendly, the beer selection is impressive, and the food is absolutely incredible! Our table ordered four or five different sandwiches and each one received glowing reviews. Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The mac and cheese, stuffed mushrooms, and all the other dishes were to die for! View all feedback.
What Chris Jameson dislikes about The Walnut:
The food at this restaurant is good and the ambiance is nice, but the noise level is a problem. The whole place acts as an echo chamber with its steel, cement, and glass interior, causing noise to amplify greatly. I had to talk loudly just to be heard by the person next to me, which only added to the overall noise level. I hope they consider adding some soundproofing in the future. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5. View all feedback.

The service was incredible, very friendly atmosphere, and the food came out very quick. We had never been here before, but we will definitely be back!

I'm from a coastal town in Texas so very familiar with Mexican food and seafood! I had the Al pastor burger with parmesan fries. It was delish! Only complaint is I would've liked a bit more salt on the fries but like that is totally preference! The flavors of the pork, cilantro, and grilled pineapple really all complemented each other and took my mouth for a nice little food journey there. My girlfriend got the shrimp tacos, I had a bite of hers. One of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had! Even including living near the coast. The shrimp was seasoned so beautifully the flavors coming from the pico, cheese, and chipotle sauce were to die for. This food made me feel totally at home. 10/10 would recommend, I'll have to make it a regular place, this was my first time!
Jamie is an exceptional bartender and one of the main reasons why we frequent this restaurant. The food here is not your typical bar fare found at other places. If you're looking for something more than just burgers and fries and want a diverse, healthy menu in a clean and vibrant setting, then this place is for you. I recommend sitting at the bar on a Tuesday for the best experience.
