My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Noce. It's an incredibly beautiful music venue. The staff is consistently professional, and the music spans various genres. I love the ambiance every time I visit. My husband has also had the opportunity to perform there multiple times. My favorite night was when a Latin band played, which allowed me to dance to the lively music.

We recently hosted our wedding at Noce on May 6, 2023, and it was truly magical! We were drawn to Noce for its unique decor and urban vibe, and we rented both the mainstage and backstage areas for our event. The staff was incredible and ensured that everything went smoothly on our big day! Many of our guests commented on how impressive the venue was and praised the outstanding service from the staff. They were very accommodating, allowing us to personalize our event, and were always available for walkthroughs and questions throughout the planning process. We would highly recommend Noce as a wedding venue!

By the time we got to the buffet—after waiting in line for quite a while—most of the food was already gone, and everything, including the filet, was cold. We found ourselves cutting chunks of meat ourselves, while only the mashed potatoes were warm. This was disappointing for the approximately 20 people who were waiting with us. Some attendees expressed their dissatisfaction on social media, which prompted them to leave. What surprised and frustrated us even more than the food was Max's decision to publicly shame the guests during the performance. He referred to them as first-timers and last-timers, ridiculing them throughout the show while consuming multiple drinks. My wife and I, along with others, were astonished that the general manager would publicly call out and criticize paying customers who were simply trying to enjoy a nice Valentine's Day evening. As a business leader, shaming customers is not a sustainable approach. While Max is undoubtedly an exceptional singer and musician, we were initially willing to overlook the food issues and focus on the music. However, his personal attacks on customers crossed a line for us. Perhaps he should reconsider his management style. I hope he can reflect on this experience and learn to appreciate all his customers, whether they are new or returning. He did acknowledge some frequent attendees, which was a nice touch. Thank you for your time. Best, Brad

Great venue. Disappointed in the 12/11/22 Home for the Holidays performance. Musicians were wonderful. Max was a bit off as he spent as much time on stage as he did backstage or behind the bar during the event. He didn 't appear to be enjoying this particular show. Bummed as we 've seen him at prior events where he had the energy. Appeared a bit under the weather, unfortunately.

My wife and I were visiting Des Moines from Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend. Looking for some late night Jazz, we discovered Noce. Went in for the free Last Call show with Max Wellman. Max is a consummate Jazz crooner and showman. The venue is as lovely as anyone can imagine and the entertainment was top notch. Noce is a perfect spot for great music happenings and an entertaining late night show thanks to owner and Jazz-man Max Wellman. Please go there!
