Good flavor... read more When visiting Des Moines, this by far was arguably the best restaurant we ate at! I would highly recommend! Service was good and the food was great! Good flavor and portions. We ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, one normal and one with “light” (less)cheese. I think the one with light cheese was a much better choice. Especially if you’re not a huge connoisseur of cheese. Wealso ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup and the Jalapeño Chicken sandwich. All of it was extremely flavorful and well prepared.The Malo Fries were good as well! Cost is slightly on the higher side for a lunch meal. But definitely worth a try!????????????????

I've also called the restaurant 8 to 9 times, and the phone just keeps ringing until it goes to voicemail. It seems like they aren't interested in attracting any customers.

It's no wonder why thi... read more I feel I could have lived an entire life before my canned beer got to my table. Almost 15 minutes to receive a canned beer on a slow day. It's no wonder why this location is about to shut down. The issue was mainly due to service, but the food was nothing to write home about. Presentation and plating were kind to the eye but lacked real flavor. I had a party of 4, and two did not show until 25 min after myself and my lady. I ordered chips and salsa and a beer. It took the other 2 people showing up and getting their drinks first before we got the chips and my drink. Let's hope that if they open another location. They do not hire the same staff.
