They were telling people that there would be a 30 minute wait for food because of a problem in the kitchen. The pickled duck, after which it is named was not available to order. My Columbian eggs were overcooked scrambled egg on a very greasy piece of bread and the chorizo pieces still had the paper coating attached. We did receive a discount because of this. In a great spot besides the Guildhall but disappointing overall.

The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed, and the staff were really friendly and attentive! I started with a fish cake and had the steak for my main course, both of which were delicious. If you're looking for a place with a unique and laid-back vibe and great food, I highly recommend it!

A charming young lady welcomed us at the door, and when I mentioned that I have Coeliac disease and am dairy intolerant, she immediately reassured me that they could accommodate my needs. She was very well-informed about allergens and offered me several options from the menu. The lunch was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. Five stars!
